Purpose and discovery

Surf brings a sense of wandering back to web discovery. Instead of scanning a long list or following a ranked feed, visitors can press Surf to encounter a different website or product from CryptoDirectory. It offers a way for curious readers and builders to find projects beyond the names they already know.

Choose a direction and explore

Choose a category and decide whether to explore project websites, product links or both. Surf presents the selected destination beneath its toolbar, with project information and a link to open the original site. When a destination prevents embedded browsing, Surf respects that setting and offers an external link so exploration can continue.

Keep useful discoveries

Bookmark a website or product to keep it in the Saved collection on the current device, and use the previous-site control to revisit discoveries during a session. The interface also describes Bittrees account collections across devices, but account sign-in is currently unavailable; visitors can continue browsing and saving locally.

Connected to CryptoDirectory

Surf draws its project catalogue from CryptoDirectory and provides a direct route back to the full directory. This connects playful discovery with a more structured way to compare categories, project descriptions and public links. Directory updates feed into Surf’s catalogue; inclusion remains informational and does not establish endorsement or permission to use a project’s protected services.

A good place to start

Open Surf, choose a category or leave all categories selected, then press Surf. Open a destination in its own tab when you want to explore further, and bookmark discoveries you want to keep on this device.
